Blackpink’s Controversial New Tour Merchandise Ignites Backlash

BLACKPINK's "Sh*t" And "Embarrassing" New Tour Merch Sparks Fury

BLACKPINK is facing backlash over their latest tour merch ahead of the upcoming DEADLINE world tour.

YG Entertainment’s Japan X account shared photos of merch for the DEADLINE pop-up store. Fans quickly slammed the designs as “lazy” and “sh*t,” accusing the company of low-effort marketing.

The merch includes a plastic bag with just the group’s logo, and simple graphics critics say look like they were made in “Picsart.” Many pointed out the lack of tour dates on the products and similar designs recycled from previous tours.

The tour starts July 3 in Japan, but fan frustration is boiling over. Comments went viral:

“I FCKING HATE YOU!!!” – BLACKPINK BLINK UNION

“this is insane i’ve never seen a worse management” – @hoIIowmuse

“what is the plastic bag for? to kms after seeing this ugly ass merch?” – @chaersluvx

“the heck is this??? just the BLACKPINK logo in a plastic bag? srlsy embarrassing” – BLACKPINK BLINK UNION

“Predictable and desperate, I actually hope no one buys this shlt.” – @delulublink

“when you think they can’t disappoint you anymore, they prove you wrong” – @leilasofiacerca

Fans are also upset about no comebacks since the last tour and concerns over the members’ preparations. The controversy keeps gaining traction as the world tour rapidly approaches. YG has yet to comment.
