Blackpink’s Latest Group Concept Photo Causes Widespread Confusion

BLACKPINK's New Group Concept Photo Sparks Major Confusion

BLACKPINK is facing backlash over their new group teaser photos for “JUMP.”

The first official BLACKPINK group photo since 2022 sparked accusations of heavy Photoshop use. Fans and netizens called out the awkward composition and the odd background, saying it looks like the members were edited together instead of actually being in the same room.

The criticism exploded on social media, with many pointing to suspicious editing around Jennie’s arms and Lisa’s leg. Some accused YG Entertainment of releasing a low-budget concept, comparing it to “nugu” group levels despite BLACKPINK’s huge status.

Fans also slammed the overall quality of the photoshoot, saying the production looks basic and boring.

BLACKPINK’s “JUMP” concept photos were released July 9, 2025, ahead of the track’s official video drop July 11. Despite excitement for new content, the group photo overshadowed the hype with mixed opinions and viral Photoshop accusations.
