BOYNEXTDOOR has marked a significant achievement with their latest mini album, ‘No Genre’, which was released on May 13. The album has surpassed 1 million in cumulative sales within just five days, with Hanteo Chart reporting total sales of 1,074,316 copies as of May 17.
This impressive figure eclipses the first-week sales of their previous album, ‘19.99’, which sold 759,156 copies upon its debut. The growth trajectory of the group has been notable, moving from 110,000 copies of their debut single to approximately 450,000 and 530,000 copies for their subsequent mini albums.
While ‘19.99’ achieved the million-seller milestone in about six weeks, ‘No Genre’ accomplished this feat in just five days, highlighting the group’s increasing popularity. The album has also performed exceptionally well internationally, topping the Oricon Daily Album Ranking in Japan and entering various charts on China’s QQ Music.
The title track, ‘I Feel Good’, debuted strongly on Melon’s Top 100, reflecting its successful digital performance. The group is relishing a series of hits, following their earlier release, ‘One Day I LOVE YOU’.
