Ngan Chau Yuets shocks fan by showing up unannounced at fan goods exchange
Hong Kongese trainee Ngan Chau Yuets, known from Starlight Boys and now competing on Boys II Planet (Mnet’s Boys Planet 2), surprised a fan during an in-person fan support goods exchange.
The fan initially didn’t recognize him because she’s an introvert and avoided eye contact. He handed her a photobooth strip of himself with his virtual self and then stood awkwardly in front of her before quickly leaving.

The whole thing was crazy. Someone stopped right in front of me – obviously he was there for the in-person exchange, so I just handed him the fan. But he continued to stand right in front of me. I was thinking, ‘Why isn’t he leaving?’ But I’m an introvert so I didn’t look up to see his face.
A friend pushed her toward Ngan, who nodded when she finally asked, "You’re him???"
All of a sudden, he gave me something and left hurriedly. I took a look and thought, ‘Huh, why are there two Ngan Chau Yuets [in the photos]?’ I looked at my friend and basically blacked out after that. My friend said she pushed me towards his direction, and when I came to my senses, I was already running.

They took a photo together, and the fan’s heart was racing.
Then I asked him if we could take a photo. And then we took one together. Too bad I didn’t have a pen, or else I could’ve asked him for an autograph.
My mind went blank after that. I told him that I hoped I could see him again in the future, that I would never delete my fan account, that I would always be here

Ngan Chau Yuets is one of over 40 contestants competing to debut on the survival show Boys II Planet, which premiered July 17 and 18. Some of the competitors are familiar idols or former survival show contestants.
