On June 3, BTS and Bong Joon Ho grabbed attention during MBC’s special election coverage titled “Democracy Again: Choice 2025.” High-energy AI visuals highlighted themes of independence and unity as the nation awaited exit poll results.

At 7:58 p.m., MBC showcased BTS, spotlighting their historic 2018 UN speech. Leader RM’s impactful words, “Instead of dreaming while looking at the stars, let’s all take one more step forward,” resonated with viewers.

Exit poll results streamed in at 8 p.m. Leading was Lee Jaemyung with 51.7%. Kim Moonsoo trailed with 39.3%. Here’s how the candidates stood:

  • Kwon Youngguk (Democratic Labor Party): 1.3%
  • Song Jinho (Independent): 0.1%

The joint poll involved 80,146 voters across 325 stations nationwide, boasting a margin of error of ±0.8%.
