BTS Jin and Red Velvet Wendy are back on stage together — and standing way closer this time.
The controversy began back in November 2024. After Jin released his solo mini-album HAPPY, he performed “Heart On The Window” live with Wendy, who featured on the track. Fans quickly noticed the two were practicing extreme social distancing during the stage performance. Videos and pictures went viral, sparking buzz online about the awkwardly wide gap between them.
Fast forward to June 2025, at Jin’s first solo world tour concert in Goyang, the two reunited. This time, Jin addressed the 2024 distance issue directly.
Jin explained:
"Back when we performed together, there was talk that Wendy-nim n I were standing too far apart,"
Wendy added:
"Yes, that it could’ve been packed with members."
Jin continued:
"Because of that even our stage director knew about that story, so there’s number markers 123 here, if I don’t…"
Fans immediately reacted to the new proximity, flooding social media with excitement.
