BTS’s V and Song Kang Share Heartwarming Military Update
BTS member V (뷔) and actor Song Kang (송강) have posted fresh snapshots from their military service. The duo, currently serving as corporals in the Republic of Korea Army’s 2nd Corps, flaunted their camaraderie and toned physiques in new photos.
V enlisted on December 11, 2023, and is assigned to the Special Duty Team of the Military Police Unit. His discharge is approaching, set for June 10 this year.
In the photos, V and Kang are seen joking around and hitting the gym, offering fans a peek into their vibrant military lives.
V shared a message on social media, reading “Hang in there” while tagging Kang’s account.
Song Kang began his military journey on April 2, 2024, serving as a drill instructor with an expected discharge of October 1, 2025.
These glimpses of their friendship reignite excitement for BTS’s upcoming full-group return. With V and RM due to be discharged on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, and SUGA on June 21, all members will soon reunite as a complete group.
