Jin of BTS Concludes Solo Variety Show ‘Run Jin’ with Exciting Final Episode
Jin, the charismatic member of BTS, has officially wrapped up his solo variety show, Run Jin, with the highly anticipated Episode 36, which aired on May 27th KST. Designed as a heartfelt gift to his devoted fanbase, the series showcased Jin’s unwavering dedication to the ARMY, capturing his adventurous spirit.
Throughout the show, viewers witnessed Jin tackling an array of thrilling challenges. From scaling Mount Halla to training alongside the coast guard, exploring haunted houses, diving into gymnastics, and fencing, he even took on some impressive action stunts. His remarkable athletic abilities led fans to dub him “a sports talent stolen by K-pop,” a testament to his versatile skills and vibrant energy.
Fans couldn’t stop raving about Jin’s natural charisma, his genuine interactions with guests, and his delightful sense of humor, all of which turned Run Jin into a global fan favorite.
Reflecting on the conclusion of the series, Jin shared his sentiments through BIGHIT MUSIC:
“After being discharged from the military, I thought long and hard about how I could show myself to fans as quickly as possible—and that’s how this content began. There were tough moments, but I also discovered sides of myself I hadn’t known before, which made it all worthwhile.”
His gratitude was palpable as he added,
“I’m grateful to the guests, the crew, and above all, the ARMY who supported Run Jin and helped it last this long. Thanks to your love, filming was always fun.”
In a touching moment during the final episode, J-Hope made a surprise appearance via video message, praising Jin:
“Hyung always thinks about the fans first. Even in difficult moments, he gives his all and blends naturally into unfamiliar environments. That’s Jin-hyung. You did great. I love you.”
The finale also included an enticing post-credits scene revealing that Jin is gearing up for his first fan concert tour, titled #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. This tour is described as a spin-off of Run Jin, symbolizing Jin’s commitment to “running directly to his fans around the world.”
Kicking off on June 28–29 at the Goyang Sports Complex in Korea, the tour will feature 18 shows across nine cities, including stops in Japan (Chiba and Osaka), the United States (Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark), and Europe (London and Amsterdam).
Meanwhile, as anticipation builds, Jin’s second mini-album, Echo, set to be released on June 16th, is already performing strongly on global music charts, further solidifying his status as a solo artist.
