BTS’s Jungkook shocked fans by opening a new Instagram account – then deleting his old one entirely.
On July 15 (KST), netizens noticed BTS members following a fresh account called “Mnijungkook.” Since the members only follow each other’s accounts, fans immediately guessed it was Jungkook’s new Instagram, despite it having zero posts.
Over the years, Jungkook’s previous Instagram username was iconic: @abcdefghi_lmnopqrstuvwxyz – covering almost every alphabet letter except “J” and “K.”
Jungkook confirmed the new username’s meaning during a live broadcast, putting rumors to rest.

The idol also used the new account to go live with RM and V after encountering issues doing a multi-member live on Weverse.

His sudden deletion of all previous posts and the old account sent fans on an emotional rollercoaster. Hopefully, this new account sticks around longer.
