SUGA is officially nearing the end of his mandatory military service. The BTS member has been serving as a social service worker since September 2023 and is set to be discharged on June 21, 2025.
In an official statement, BIGHIT MUSIC announced,
"SUGA is nearing the end of his service as a social service worker and will soon be discharged. There will be no official event on the day of his discharge."
The agency is urging fans to stay away from the discharge site to prevent overcrowding. They stated,
"To prevent safety incidents due to overcrowding, we sincerely ask fans to refrain from visiting the site. Please send your warm welcome and encouragement to SUGA in your hearts."
BIGHIT MUSIC expressed gratitude for the unwavering support fans have shown SUGA. After Jin and j-hope in June 2023, RM and V on June 10, and Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, BTS is on the verge of a full reunion.
