Chaeyoung of TWICE Set for Solo Debut This Fall Following Group Comeback

Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung is set to make her solo debut this fall. Reports confirm her first solo project will drop in the second half of 2023, right after TWICE’s full-group comeback and overseas festivals in July.

She’ll be the fourth member of TWICE to go solo, following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu. Other members are busy too—Mina, Sana, and Momo have launched the Japanese unit MISAMO, releasing the mini album Masterpiece. The album sold over 155,000 copies in its first week, topping the Oricon Weekly Chart. It’s a record for first-week sales by a Japanese female artist this year, earning them a spot in the prestigious NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

Meanwhile, Dahyun has ventured into acting, making her film debut in the Korean version of You Are the Apple of My Eye.

TWICE has been dominating the K-pop scene since 2015, gaining popularity in South Korea and Japan and touring worldwide.

Chaeyoung’s upcoming solo project is expected to bring fresh energy to the group and strengthen TWICE’s global influence.
