Chefs battle for SEVENTEEN’s $7K group dinner on ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’

In an exciting episode of JTBC’s variety show ‘Please Take Care of My Refrigerator’ that aired on May 25, SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Woozi took the stage as special guests to mark the group’s impressive 10th anniversary. True to form, they brought not only their enormous appetites but also a thrilling challenge for the show’s top chefs!

During their appearance, Woozi surprised everyone by revealing his eating habits. He confessed,

“I need to eat at least six hamburgers or four to five packets of instant noodles to feel full.”

His culinary banter showed off his impressive knowledge, as he commented,

“That cooking method keeps the texture alive,”

and

“Low-temperature cooking should work well.”

The cooking showdown kicked off with Hoshi’s favorite—kimchi—as the chefs were challenged to create innovative dishes featuring this beloved Korean staple. Chef Kim Sohee confidently declared her love for kimchi, stating she often pairs it with kimchi stew, while her competitor, Fabrizio Ferrari, playfully amplified the stakes by declaring himself

“a global kimchi ambassador.”

As the culinary competition heated up, Fabrizio didn’t hold back, presenting an array of unconventional fusion dishes that mingled Korean and Western influences. Fellow chef Kim Poong reacted with surprise, exclaiming,

“Even I think this crossed the line,”

while Kwon Sungjoon quipped,

“Fabrizio might not be allowed back in Italy after this.”

The unique creations amped up the suspense, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats.

As the second round commenced, the chefs were motivated by a tantalizing reward—a lavish SEVENTEEN group dinner valued at approximately $7,000. Hoshi revealed,

“We once spent that much on a team meal. This time, we’ll have our anniversary dinner at the winning chef’s restaurant,”

fueling their competitive spirits even further.

Chefs Yoon Namno and Kwon Sungjoon poured their hearts into crafting dishes that reflected SEVENTEEN’s decade-long journey, infusing their plates with deeply personal stories. The ultimate decision hinged on Hoshi and Woozi, leaving fans eagerly curious about which chef would earn the cherished honor and the exclusive dinner.
