Choi Seung-hyun Makes a Comeback at ‘Squid Game Season 3’ Finale Event

Choi Seung-hyun Returns to the Spotlight at 'Squid Game Season 3' Finale Event

Choi Seung-hyun (T.O.P) returns to the spotlight amid controversy. The BIGBANG member made a buzzworthy appearance at the Squid Game Season 3 finale event on June 28 in Seoul.

The gathering was part of the “2025 K-Content Seoul Travel Week: Squid Game Parade,” co-hosted by Netflix and the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Highlighted by a massive parade on Sejong-daero, the festivities drew a star-studded lineup including director Hwang Dong-hyuk and co-stars like Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, and Jung Ho-yeon.

Choi Seung-hyun’s presence marks a significant comeback after a long hiatus due to his 2016 marijuana charges.

His role in Squid Game Season 2 stirred controversy, facing accusations of “connection-based casting” and criticism over his acting. This led to him missing out on some key promotional events.

Despite earlier backlash, Choi is back on stage, recently participating in U.S. promotional tours. He expressed his gratitude, stating,

“I’m thankful to be part of such a great project. I learned so much from director Hwang Dong-hyuk and truly appreciate all his hard work.”

Squid Game Season 3 will see Gi-hun re-enter the deadly game, alongside the mysteries of the Front Man and the fates of past survivors. Fans eagerly await the continuation of the high-stakes drama.
