Cravity’s Creative Director Addresses Allegations of Plagiarizing TXT Beomgyu’s “Panic”

CRAVITY's Creative Director Responds To Accusations Of Plagiarizing TXT Beomgyu's "Panic"

CRAVITY’s creative director Rakta responds to plagiarism accusations over concept photos

Rakta, who worked on CRAVITY’s latest comeback album Dare To Crave, spoke out after fans noticed striking similarities between CRAVITY’s concept photos and TXT Beomgyu’s Panic visuals.

Fans pointed out matching scenes of the members lying down, sitting in a fridge, wrapped in blankets, sitting in a closet, and in a bathroom — with similar camera angles and even identical bathroom tiles.

Rakta issued an apology but clarified the situation. He said he submitted his concept plans to BigHit Music, who reviewed the timeline and cleared any plagiarism claims.

“Hello, I’m writing this message in response to comments pointing out similarities between some of the concept photos from CRAVITY The 2nd Album ? ver. released on June 17, and Beomgyu’s Panic concept photos.
As I also do not wish to leave any room for misunderstanding, I shared the planning details with Beomgyu’s agency, BigHit Music, and confirmed that—based on the production timeline—it would have been impossible for CRAVITY’s album to have copied Panic.
While the concepts for both projects were distinctly different in their overall direction, I deeply regret that some of the resulting images caused confusion. I kindly ask for your continued interest and support for both TXT, including Beomgyu, and CRAVITY, with whom I was able to work on something new. Thank you for reading. Wishing you all good health.”
