Dancer Honey J Delivers Official Apology for Using Profanities Toward Fellow “World of Street Woman Fighter” Performer

Dancer Honey J Issues Formal Apology For Hurling Profanities At Fellow "World Of Street Woman Fighter" Dancer

Honey J is facing backlash after a controversial reaction video where she swore at a fellow dancer.

On June 21 KST, Honey J uploaded a behind-the-scenes clip on her YouTube channel Today’s HyojinChoi. While watching the premiere of World of Street Woman Fighter, she remarked, “Is that even dancing? That’s just sex.

The clip was deleted within two hours but quickly went viral on social media. Fans, both Korean and international, slammed her words as inappropriate and offensive.

On June 22, Honey J issued a formal apology on Instagram.

Honey J: “I sincerely apologize to those who were hurt by my careless words in the YouTube video uploaded last night, as well as to those who have supported me—I deeply regret causing any disappointment or discomfort.”

“The video was filmed in a relaxed setting where the members and I had gathered to watch the first broadcast of Street Woman Fighter together. We were casually chatting as we watched, and in the heat of the moment, I reacted strongly toward an opposing dancer. I deeply reflect on the fact that my thoughtless words and actions made viewers uncomfortable.”

“As soon as I realized the situation, I personally reached out to apologize to the dancer from the opposing crew. They could have been upset, but graciously accepted my apology. I want to express my sincere apologies once again. It was entirely my fault for not fully recognizing the weight of my words.”

“I offer a heartfelt apology to everyone.”

“Through this experience, I’ve come to realize how much impact a single word or action can have. I will take greater care with everything I say and do, and make sure not to repeat the same mistake. I will take to heart all the feedback and criticism I’ve received, and strive to think and act more thoughtfully from now on.”

“To everyone who has supported me, I sincerely apologize once again for letting you down.”

Another dancer from the show, Aiki, was also involved in the same scandal. She has issued her own apology to fellow dancers.

The situation is still developing as fans react to the apologies.
