Day6 Concert Faces Allegations of Potential Fan Personal Information Breach

DAY6 Concert In Danger Of Allegedly Violating Fan Personal Information

DAY6 is facing huge backlash after fans exposed chaotic and invasive ID checks at their recent fan meeting.

One fan’s viral tweet revealed they were denied entry when staff demanded to check their ID. Police even got involved during the incident.

Soon after, another fan went viral complaining their ticket was confiscated. Staff reportedly took pictures of their ID, a family member’s ID, and the ticket, then shared them in a security team group chat.

“My ticket was purchased under my mom’s name, so I took my family relationship certificate and ID, but the staff told me I didn’t come with the person accompanying me. They took pictures of my ID, my mom’s ID, and the ticket and posted them in a group chat. There was a lot of other people’s information, too. This needs to be publicized fast.”

The fan added that after showing a government-issued mobile ID, the staff refused to accept it and still took their ticket and documents.

“They told me I didn’t come with my accompanying person (my mom), and someone in a red vest came and told me to show them a copy of my ID from the government site. After showing it to them from my phone, they said they weren’t taking mobile and ended up taking my ticket, ID, and documents and posting it in their group chat.”

Fans slammed the strict entry rules, pointing out the fine print didn’t say the ticket holder had to be accompanied by the registered family member.

“Wow, this is taking it too far. The fine print doesn’t say anything about bringing the accompanying person when purchasing a ticket in a family member’s name. This cannot be overlooked…you didn’t even get your money back…”

Another fan shared fears about future events:

“I was so shocked that tears didn’t even come out. I told them that the fine print didn’t mention bringing the accompanying person, and that other people didn’t have a problem yesterday and could enter just by showing the family relationship certificate. But the staff said they probably came with their accompanying person in a rude manner. I’m going to the fan meeting next week, and I’m scared this is how I will be treated…”

Other fans reported less strict treatment previously:

“The security are really wack…I came without my accompanying adult and just showed my parent’s ID and documents and they let me enter.”

Netizens are calling for legal action:

  • “Don’t they know how sensitive people are about personal information? It’s a crime.”
  • “This is f*cking annoying. There are so many people who relieve their stress by bullying fans. Do you think you are something because you’re an idol? The biggest reason I don’t do K-Pop anymore is that I don’t want my affection pawned and bullied anymore.”
  • “Everyone needs to come together and sue them…”
  • “This is a crime; they need to be sued.”
  • “Crazy…sue them…they need to be punished.”
  • “Even the airport doesn’t do this…”

The situation is gaining traction online as fans demand accountability for the invasive and inconsistent ID verification process at DAY6’s fan meeting.
