Chae Rim speaks out on remarriage after divorce from Gao Ziqi
Actress Chae Rim opened up about remarriage in a recent Weibo video, sparking buzz over her take on second chances in love.
Chae Rim married Chinese actor Gao Ziqi in 2014 after co-starring in the C-Drama The Li Family. They had a son in 2017 but divorced in 2020. This was her second failed marriage following a brief union with singer Lee Seung Hwan in 2003.
When asked if she’d marry again, Chae Rim replied,
“With someone other than the father of my child?”
She admits she hasn’t considered it much but might in the future once her son grows up.
“I’ve never thought about it. But if a couple doesn’t get along or isn’t headed in the same direction, it gets tough. So, maybe when my child grows up…I might consider it.”
