Elon Musk Posts Video of G-Dragon in a Cybertruck: The King of K-Pop Takes a Ride in Tesla’s Cybertruck

G-Dragon Cybertruck

Elon Musk is making headlines again. He retweeted a video featuring G-Dragon arriving in a Tesla Cybertruck wrapped with his PEACEMINUSONE logo.

The drama started when Musk shared a post from Teslaconomics on X (formerly Twitter). The tweet said:

“Just watch what happens when the king of K-pop, G-Dragon, shows up in a Cybertruck in Korea.”

G-Dragon made his grand entrance at the Grand Hyatt Seoul for the launch of his PEACEMINUSONE Premium Highball. He announced a whopping donation of 880 million KRW (around $635,000) to the Just Peace Foundation. The amount represents the number 8, symbolizing infinity.

This isn’t G-Dragon’s first time in the spotlight with the Cybertruck. He previously showed up at Incheon International Airport in the same vehicle last November.

Musk’s retweet quickly went viral, racking up over one million views in just hours.

Adding to the buzz, Maye Musk, Elon’s mother, also retweeted related content. She shared a post from TCMesla, stating:

G-Dragon, the King of K-Pop, arrived at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in a newly designed ‘war vehicle’ aka Tesla Cybertruck to attend today’s ‘PEACEMINUSONE Premium Highball Launch Party – THE SIGNAL’ event.”

Maye Musk

It’s rare to see both Elon and Maye Musk highlight the same celebrity, especially calling him "King of K-pop."

This situation has sparked speculation about Tesla’s cultural interest in South Korea and the impact of K-pop on global branding.

As G-Dragon mixes music, fashion, and philanthropy, fans are questioning if a collaboration between him and Tesla could be next. The excitement continues as the crossover between tech and K-pop grows.
