ENHYPEN faced the spotlight on the latest episode of The Seasons – Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile. The group opened up about their groundbreaking experience at Coachella this year.
During the June 6 episode, the members talked about their return with their 6th mini-album Desire: Unleash.
Jungwon expressed, “To be honest, Coachella is a dream stage. So, we still couldn’t believe it. We prepared with everything we got, life or death.”
Heeseung chimed in about the challenging conditions:
“Some might not be aware, but Coachella takes place in the desert. There was a lot of sand in the wind, so it was really hard to sing and sand would get stuck. So we drank a lot of water even moments before going on stage.”
Park Bo Gum praised them:
“The Coachella performance is actually really long. How many songs did you prepare?”
Jungwon revealed,
“We prepared about 13 tracks, and we performed 45 minutes straight.”
Park responded with pride:
“It was just so amazing and wonderful, I feel full of pride, to see you represent Korea and perform at such a huge festival.”
The conversation turned to their growth over the years.
Ni-Ki, the youngest member, shared,
“I think it’s because I was the smallest member, but now I’m the tallest.”
When asked about his age, Ni-Ki said,
“I’m 21.”
Park Bo Gum reacted,
“Wow, he’s 21!”
The laughter continued as they discussed ages, with Park adding, “So you lived in Japan and came to Korea. How old were you when you came to Korea?”
Ni-Ki stunned the audience with,
“I came when I was in middle school.”
