On May 16 KST, C9 Entertainment announced that EPEX member Keum Dong Hyun will be taking a hiatus from all activities due to personal reasons. The label indicated that his activities will remain suspended until further notice, and EPEX will continue to promote as a 7-member group starting today.
This announcement comes amid a wave of similar hiatuses from other boy group members, leading to speculation about potential appearances on Mnet‘s upcoming idol audition program, Boys II Planet.
Previously, Keum Dong Hyun gained attention as a contestant on Mnet’s Produce X 101, where he controversially ranked 8th, resulting in his elimination from the winning group at 14th place.
