Park Tae Joon and Choi Soojung finalized divorce after four years of marriage
Webtoon artist Park Tae Joon, known for hits like Lookism, has divorced former girl group member Choi Soojung.
Sports Seoul confirmed on August 28, 2025, that their divorce was finalized last year. A close source said:
“Park Tae Joon and Choi Soojung have settled their divorce through mutual agreement.”
Repeated attempts to reach Park for comment were unsuccessful.
The couple ended their roughly four-year marriage, which began in 2020 after a decade of dating. Park publicly confirmed their marriage registration on MBC’s Radio Star.
“I didn’t tell anyone. Since childhood, I never really understood wedding ceremonies. I was worried because I don’t have many friends to fill a hall. We dated for 10 years. It feels like living with a friend. My wife calls me her ‘best friend.’” – Park Tae Joon
Park rose to fame as an ulzzang on Comedy TV’s Ulzzang Generation in 2009 and expanded into variety shows like Ulzzang TV and Flower Boy Corporation. He transitioned to webtoon creation and runs The Gram Entertainment, producing major titles on Naver including Lookism, How to Fight, and Manager Kim. He also owns three properties.
Choi Soojung debuted in 2010 with Korea-China joint girl group Lotte Girls. She appeared in the 2018 web drama Check, Mate and co-starred with Park in Ram’s I Might Die Like This music video. In 2019, Choi appeared on MBC’s I Live Alone as close friend of MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, showing their trainee days friendship.
