*Hitomi Struggles as SAY MY NAME Leader, Opens Up to Kwon Eunbi About IZONE Pressure**
Former IZONE member Hitomi, now leading fifth-gen girl group SAY MY NAME, revealed the real challenge of being a leader. She recently confessed to Kwon Eunbi how much she finally understands Eunbi’s struggles as IZONE leader.
Hitomi appeared on Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae’s YouTube talk show Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk with groupmate Mei. When asked if being an unnie in IZ*ONE was harder than leading SAY MY NAME, Hitomi said leading is tougher.
She explained during IZ*ONE, she only had to look after two younger members. Now, she’s responsible for six juniors in SAY MY NAME. Hitomi called Eunbi recently with a message:
“I told her, ‘I finally understand how you felt…’”
Hitomi admitted she struggled leading six members while Eunbi had to manage eleven.
Eunbi fired back with a blunt reality check:
“Exactly, right? That’s why I always cried.”
Hitomi showed respect for Eunbi’s burden, saying Eunbi was “always struggling so much” in her role.
