Baekhyun, member of EXO, has successfully launched his latest solo album, “Essence of Reverie,” selling approximately 784,000 copies on its first day of release on May 19, according to data from Hanteo. This impressive figure makes “Essence of Reverie” Baekhyun’s second-highest first-day sales, trailing behind his previous mini-album, “Hello, World,” which achieved around 890,000 copies.
Furthermore, this latest project has secured the title for the highest first-day sales for a K-pop solo artist in 2025. “Essence of Reverie” is Baekhyun’s fifth mini-album and features tracks including “Chocolate,” “Elevator,” “Lemonade,” “Love Comes Back,” “No Problem,” “Black Dreams,” and “Late Night Calls.”
