Fans Organize Unique Welcome Home Project for Jungkook’s Military Return

Jungkook is making headlines as he prepares for his military discharge next week on June 11.

His fan club, Jungkook Japan, is celebrating with the “JungKook Welcome Home Project.” They announced it on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that starting June 10, three fully wrapped “Jungkook Buses” will be cruising around the Seoul metro area.

These buses will display eye-catching images of Jungkook alongside the adorable “Kkuktugi” character, a personified version of him. Buses will be stationed near HYBE headquarters in Yongsan-gu and around the FESTA event in Goyang, celebrating BTS’s debut anniversary.

From June 10 to 16, an advertising campaign will also run at the Yongsan HYBE branch of 7-Eleven, just a minute from HYBE’s new building.

On another note, the Korean fan club, Jungkook Supporters, will promote his image on two major Seoul bus lines—Bus 100 and Bus 400—from June 5 to July 4.

Chinese fan club Jungkook China is joining in, operating their own “Jungkook Bus” near the HYBE headquarters from June 11 to 15.

Adding to the excitement, fanbase Jungkook Channel CIS will also run a congratulatory video truck near HYBE from June 11 to 13.

Get ready, ARMY! Jungkook’s homecoming is going to be one major celebration!

“Jungkook’s fans are pulling out all the stops,” a fan expressed on social media.
