Henry faces backlash after pro-China post despite anti-bullying ambassador role

Henry, formerly of Super Junior, recently drew public criticism in Korea after reposting the Chinese Communist Party’s One China slogan. This move sparked outrage, with many demanding his removal as an anti-bullying ambassador in Korea.

Despite his past ambassador work for youth, Korean fans saw his action as supporting a controversial political stance. Henry quickly issued an apology following the backlash.

Currently, Henry is keeping busy internationally. He attended the ceremony for the fourth tower of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, an event hosted by luxury resort brand Las Vegas Sands.

At the ceremony, Henry performed and mingled with prominent political and business figures.

Since leaving MBC’s I Live Alone, Henry has stayed active on global stages. He’s appeared on the Spanish and German episodes of KBS’s I Am A Singer and participated in various international festivals.

Henry continues pushing his global artist career despite ongoing controversies.
