VERIVERY’s Dongheon eliminated from Boys Planet 2 despite strong performance
VERIVERY leader Dongheon has been shockingly eliminated from Boys Planet 2 after ranking 49th. The idol, who was discharged from military service in February, gave it his all on the show, impressing with his experience and leadership.
Fellow VERIVERY members Kangmin and Gyehyeon survived elimination, but fans and netizens were stunned that Dongheon didn’t make the cut.
Fans and fellow contestants showed raw emotion on the recent episode. Kangmin was visibly emotional sending a message to Dongheon after the ranking was announced, while Gyehyeon followed Dongheon around in tears.
Fans slammed Mnet for the way the storyline focused on Dongheon only when he was about to be eliminated.
