On June 19, 2025, it was announced that Kim Go Eun will join the cast of Netflix’s hit dating reality show Single’s Inferno 5.
The show’s fifth season continues its global success with a fresh lineup on the isolated “Inferno” island, where contestants must form couples to escape.
Kim Go Eun, born in 2000 and daughter of former national soccer player Kim Hyun Soo, was the 2022 runner-up at the 66th Miss Korea pageant.
Single’s Inferno is Netflix’s longest-running Korean variety show, with all four previous seasons in the Global Top 10. Kim Go Eun now faces pressure to become the show’s next breakout star, following in the footsteps of alumni like Freezia, Dex, and Lee Si An.
