Lee Do Hyun’s K-Drama comeback derailed as Go Min Si drops out over school bullying allegations
Lee Do Hyun’s highly anticipated return to acting in Grand Galaxy Hotel is hit with a major setback. Go Min Si, originally cast alongside him, has officially bowed out due to ongoing school bullying accusations.
The controversy began last month when Go Min Si was accused of school violence, severely damaging her public image. Despite initial support from the production company, who stated they trusted the actress and would “respond cautiously,” the scandal gained traction.
On June 26, Mystic Story confirmed to TenAsia that Go Min Si would leave the project to focus on resolving the allegations first.
“It is true that Go Min Si has decided not to appear in the drama. Rather than pushing ahead with filming while the school bullying allegations remained unresolved, we decided that it would be better to address the issue first. So, after amicable discussions with the production team, we decided to step down.”

Go Min Si’s exit means the duo will not reunite on screen as planned. Fans had eagerly awaited their third collaboration after Sweet Home and Youth of May.
Rising actress Shi Si Ah has been confirmed as Go Min Si’s replacement for the upcoming drama. Grand Galaxy Hotel is set to begin filming in the second half of 2025.
