HYBE is gearing up for its second global girl group debut, following KATSEYE’s path.
HYBE and Geffen Records announced on August 6 that the new group will be formed through World Scout: The Final Piece. The project kicks off with a massive audition tour across Japan, scouting top global talent.
Elite HYBE scouting teams will lead the search. Trainees picked will enter a “K-pop-style training” program tailored for the U.S. market, running from October to December.
Selected trainees advance to an advanced training camp in the U.S. They’ll compete for a spot in the final lineup set to debut in 2026.
World Scout: The Final Piece will air exclusively in spring 2026 on Japan’s ABEMA streaming platform.
The program will capture how talented individuals grow while working alongside world-class producers.

This marks HYBE’s latest attempt to globalize K-Pop. In 2023, HYBE and Geffen launched The Debut: Dream Academy, the audition show that created KATSEYE.
