aoen Debuts with a Bang!

Brand new J-pop boy group aoen (아오엔 / アオエン) is making waves! They’ve claimed the No.1 spot on Japan’s Oricon Daily Singles Ranking with their first release.

Their debut single "The Blue Sun" launched them straight to the top, as reported by Oricon on June 16, dated June 15. The group features seven members: Yuju (유우주 / ユウジュ), Luka (루카 / ルカ), Hikaru (히카루 / ヒカル), Sota (소타 / ソウタ), Kyosuke (쿄스케 / キョウスケ), Gaku (가쿠 / ガク), and Leo (레오 / レオ).

Since officially debuting on June 11, aoen has been hitting the music shows hard. Their variety show, “We’ll Do Our Best Again Today, aoen! (今日もaoen頑張ります!)”, is set to premiere on Nippon TV on June 25.

"The Blue Sun" is packed with energy. The single features three additional tracks: "Blue Flame," "Circle Ring," and "FINISH LINE Last Race, New Start." These songs embody aoen’s youthful spirit.

The title track is a lively dance number, blending punk pop with groovy bass lines and funky guitar riffs. It aims to uplift and energize listeners through its vibrant lyrics.

Formed through the audition show "CHEER-HIGH: Dream Start Line (応援-HIGH 夢のSTART LINE)", aoen represents hope and ambition as a 7-member group under HYBE’s YX Labels. They proudly embrace the symbolism of the "blazing blue flame," aiming to inspire with their radiant energy.
