i-dle (formerly known as (G)I-DLE) member Shuhua has left fans and listeners in stitches once again with her refreshingly blunt sense of humor.
On May 20, KST, the full lineup of i-dle made a special appearance on KBS Cool FM’s Lee Eun Ji’s Music Plaza, where they promoted their latest music. During the live broadcast, Shuhua didn’t hold back, showcasing her signature dry wit, particularly when discussing her dieting habits.
At one point, group leader Soyeon playfully teased Shuhua about her current diet, which forbids all flour. “You’ve said you’ve quit eating flour recently,” she jested, “but why has your personality gotten so much better?”
Shuhua shot back with her trademark candor, saying, “My personality isn’t good. I’m already annoyed simply by being here.” This quip brought laughter to everyone in the studio.
Host Lee Eun Ji chimed in, noting how quitting flour can often impact a person’s mood. She praised Shuhua for maintaining her composure despite the restrictions, to which Shuhua dryly responded, “Right now I’m just holding on with all my body’s strength.” Her remark sparked yet another round of laughter among the crew.
As the episode progressed, Shuhua shared her struggles with her strict exercise regimen, adding with a playful pout, “I got jealous when I saw Minnie unnie eating today.”
The group’s recent transformation from (G)I-DLE to i-dle coincides with the release of their special album, We Are i-dle, marking a new chapter in their career. With Shuhua’s unfiltered charm and hilarious personality, the group continues to garner positive attention worldwide.
