ILLIT's Minju Reveals The "Bloody" Preparation Process For The New Album

Minju shocked fans with a brutal confession about her vocal training for ILLIT’s latest comeback.

The group dropped their third mini album, Bomb, on June 16 at 6 PM KST. The title track, “Do The Dance,” was showcased at their press event held earlier that day at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul.

During the showcase, Minju opened up about pushing herself to the limit for this comeback.

“I practiced so much, I could taste blood in my throat.”

She added that her focus was on mastering the basics to boost her vocal skills.

Minju’s hard work paid off. The group’s producer praised her for stronger pitch stability.

The Bomb album marks a shift in ILLIT’s story. Unlike their previous two albums centered on "I," this one explores connections through relationships and emotions.
