Intoxicated Korean Man Assaults Taxi Driver Amid Political Dispute in Startling Incident

Drunk Korean Man Attacks Taxi Driver Over Politics In Shocking Incident

A taxi driver in Busan faced a violent attack from an intoxicated passenger over politics. The incident happened around 6 a.m. when the man in his 20s got into the taxi and suddenly asked the driver about his political views.

When the driver said he didn’t follow politics, the passenger got aggressive. He swore, shook the front seat, and then pushed the driver onto a busy road. The attacker laughed and struck the driver in the head with his knee.

The taxi driver said:

“He suddenly asked, ‘Are you with the red party? The blue party?’ That’s how he brought it up. I told him I don’t know anything about politics and cut him off clearly. But then, out of nowhere, he said from the back, ‘You’re dead today, you f***er.’”

CCTV footage shows the attacker hitting the driver with his phone while trying to take over the taxi. The driver sustained head injuries that required stitches. The damaged taxi repairs are costing millions of won.

Police have booked the suspect and launched a full investigation. Watch the full video below.
