Is DEX Part of Suzy’s New K-Drama? Agency Responds to Rumors

Is DEX Joining Suzy's New K-Drama?— Agency Addresses Speculations

DEX is denying claims he’s joining Suzy’s new K-Drama, Men of the Harem.

On June 19, Korean media reported that Single’s Inferno star DEX, aka Kim Jin Young, was cast as a concubine in the fantasy drama. The show is set in the fictional Tarim Empire where Empress Latil — played by Suzy — chooses five male concubines to protect her throne. The drama is directed by Lee Eung Bok, known for Descendants of the Sun and Mr. Sunshine.

But DEX’s agency, kth studio, slammed the rumors.

The reports about DEX starring in the new drama, Men of the Harem, are not true.

Fans were disappointed after the buzz, especially since DEX already debuted as an actor in the 2023 movie Tarot. He is confirmed to make his K-Drama debut in the upcoming ENA series The Defects, premiering this July.
