IVE’s Wonyoung is under fire over her outfit at the Coupang Play Series Halftime Show.
Wonyoung wore a jersey-based dress that many fans called too revealing for the event’s vibe.
It quickly surfaced that members requested their own looks. Despite this, not all fans bought it.
A major voice came from Wonyoung’s large Chinese fanbase. They sent a letter to Starship Entertainment demanding more “comfortable and appropriate” styling for the 20-year-old idol.
They criticized the tight, short, and low-cut dress as unsuitable for the sporty, casual event. The letter called Starship out for pushing a “sexy” image on Wonyoung against her natural style and comfort.
