IVE is facing backlash over their first concept posts for their upcoming comeback. The 6 posts, including one with a gun, were released on July 31 ahead of their 4th EP IVE Secret, set for August 25. Netizens are criticizing the images for apparently being created with AI.
Fans pointed out that while IVE’s past concepts were praised, this time Starship Entertainment is accused of using AI-generated images instead of real artists or designers like for their other groups.
Social media exploded with anger about the AI credit on Instagram and the perceived drop in quality and effort.
how did you go from having REAL artists for heya/ive switch to using fucking AI for this one,,,, so sorry but

The controversy is gaining traction as fans compare IVE’s AI concepts against the detailed work of other Starship groups. The agency has not yet commented on the situation.
