J-Hope is back in the spotlight after his military discharge, and fans are buzzing with excitement. On June 14, he appeared on MBC’s variety show Point of Omniscient Interfere to promote his new track, "Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)".
"When I was in the military, Point of Omniscient Interfere was always airing reruns on TV. While watching it, I thought to myself, ‘I should definitely go on the show after I’m discharged,’" J-Hope said.
He reminisced about a hilarious BTS cover performance that aired years ago, praising comedian Yoo Byung Jae for his unique dance moves:
"Byungjae hyung was dancing like his face and body were moving separately in the beginning. I really enjoyed watching it."
With only Suga left to complete military service, J-Hope shared mixed feelings about reuniting with the group.
"When I was discharged, I had mixed feelings. Now that all the members are finishing, I wonder if we’ll still have the same chemistry when we work together again. I feel both anxious and excited."
J-Hope believes their bond will strengthen as they prepare for full group activities. Plans are already underway:
"We’re planning to gather and discuss the album. We’re trying to prepare as quickly as possible. Since BTS is all about performances, we’re also planning a full group world tour."
