Jackson was rushed to the hospital overseas for food poisoning ahead of a scheduled fan event.
Taiwanese media ET Today reported that on the night of August 15, Jackson was taken to the emergency room due to food poisoning. His agency, Team Wang Records, confirmed the sudden hospitalization around midnight and emphasized he needs rest and medical care.
The Music Korea fan signing event set for August 16 was canceled as a result.
Team Wang Records issued an apology for the cancellation and said:
“We are coordinating a new fan signing schedule with the Music Korea team.”
They also assured fans:
“Fans who purchased tickets for this event will receive refunds.”
Jackson is set to start his Magic Man 2 tour this October, with shows on October 3 and 4 in Bangkok, Thailand.
