Jennie is facing controversy after her recent appearance on Hot Ones. The BLACKPINK star tried to conquer the spicy wings challenge while promoting her first solo album, Ruby.
Jennie confessed she "has no spice in her daily life," making her struggle with the wings even more intense. In the beginning, she impressed herself with her ability to handle the heat, joking, "I’m honestly kind of disappointed Sean," referring to host Sean Evans.
But it didn’t last. The 8th wing brought Jennie to her knees.
"I can’t even speak! I can’t hear anymore!"
She was visibly shaken, calling for help, shivering, and even tearing up as she fought through the last few wings. Despite it all, she completed the challenge, becoming the third BLACKPINK member to do so.
