BTS member Jin just made headlines with his surprise appearance to celebrate the military discharge of fellow members RM and V.
On June 10 KST, RM and V completed their military service and broadcasted live on Weverse at around 12 p.m. KST to connect with fans.
Jin showed up wearing a red ribbon and quipped, “Congratulations on your discharge. I’m your present.” Fans were quick to respond with laughter.
When Jin asked V, “What are you going to do now?” V replied, “I’ve had enough rest, so I think it’s time to start doing something.” Jin then handed over a bouquet and playfully asked, “J-Hope didn’t come, right?” RM and V responded, “He came and went.”
RM and V enlisted together in December 2023. They served with the military band of the 15th Infantry Division and the Special Duty Team in Chuncheon. Their discharge on June 10 ends an era for BTS fans.
With Jin and J-Hope already discharged, four out of seven BTS members are back to civilian life. Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on June 11, while Suga wraps up his service as a public service worker on June 21.
BTS’s military hiatus, which began in December 2022, is expected to end this month. HYBE commented, “We hope for full-group BTS activities in 2025,” fueling hopes for a comeback album by year-end or early next year.
Stay tuned for updates on BTS activities!
