Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Min-ho Star in ‘Omniscient Reader: The Prophet’ – First Stills Released
The highly anticipated fantasy action film ‘Omniscient Reader: The Prophet’ has dropped its first set of official stills, sparking excitement ahead of its nationwide release on July 23.
Based on the popular web novel, the film features Ahn Hyo-seop as Kim Dok-ja, an ordinary office worker whose life spirals when a fictional world becomes reality. He meets the novel’s hero, Yoo Jung-hyuk, played by Lee Min-ho, only to be turned down when he proposes teaming up.
The new stills reveal a striking world filled with intense visuals and a gripping relationship between Dok-ja and Jung-hyuk. Their dynamic shifts from conflict to reluctant cooperation in a high-stakes fight for survival.
Chae Soo-bin stars as Yoo Sang-ah, a supportive colleague, while Shin Seung-ho plays the muscle-bound survivor Lee Hyun-sung. Additional roles include Nana as the trauma-affected fighter Jung Hee-won, Ji Soo as devoted student Lee Ji-hye, and Kwon Eun-sung as Lee Gil-young, who uniquely communicates with insects.
