The Sony animated K-pop fantasy movie is blowing up worldwide. It follows female idols by day, demon slayers by night. When rival boy group demons, the Saja Boys, show up, HUNTR/X’s Rumi faces tough battles — both external and internal.
One character, Jinu, a 400-year-old demon friend-turned-tragic-hero, sacrifices himself to save Rumi and humanity. Fans were devastated by this no-happy-ending twist — Rumi and Jinu didn’t even get a kiss.
During a recent livestream, Jungkook sang along to Saja Boys’ hit “Soda Pop” and reacted live to Jinu’s sacrifice.
Jungkook:
“You idiot. Why did he block that? What the heck? Just fight with her.”
He wanted Jinu to fight harder and live longer since Rumi gave him back his soul.
Jungkook:
“You should try living even harder if she got you your soul back.”
Fans caught Jungkook wiping tears as he watched the scene unfold.
