BTS’s Jungkook is under fire from hate comments, facing backlash over his post-military activities.
The idol and the other BTS members were recently discharged after completing their military service earlier this month. Jungkook jumped back into the spotlight immediately with an appearance at J-Hope’s finale concert.
Soon after, Jungkook and Jimin were spotted leaving Korea together for an unknown vacation spot ahead of their busy group schedule. Videos showing the duo doing activities sparked rumors of a new season of Are You Sure?!, their Disney+ show.
Despite no official announcements, netizens have targeted Jungkook with unwarranted hate. Without his own Instagram, critics use Bam’s account to post homophobic remarks, trashing Jungkook’s time with Jimin and demanding a solo comeback.
Fans quickly rallied in defense of both idols. They flooded Instagram and Twitter with supportive messages trying to drown out the negativity.

"Please go write meaningful and heartfelt comments on jungkook instagram. Antis are making a new anonymous account and spreading hate to him."Lari:
"Imagine calling a friendship of more than 12 years fan service just because you’re mad now that you’re finally realizing the members aren’t bitter losers like you and all the stories you make up every day about them hating and being jealous of each other are lies"Alma:
"Fucking weirdo behaviour. Leave Jungkook (and Jimin too) alone, ffs. They can do whatever the fuck they want. So many pathetic losers in this fandom."
The situation continues to gain traction as fans and haters clash over Jungkook’s personal and professional choices.
