NCT WISH fan alleges sexual assault by security at Japan fan meeting
An NCT WISH fan sparked outrage after sharing a harrowing claim of sexual assault by security staff at the group’s Japan fan meeting on July 21.
The fan detailed the incident on social media, saying security guards aggressively searched her, putting their hands inside her chest and under her skirt in front of NCT WISH members. She was also reportedly forced to shake her bra and had her arms bruised during the ordeal.
I was at the first session on the second day of the Japan fan meeting. Security was kicking out people with cameras, and the guard put his hand inside my chest and told me to shake my bra and put his hand up my skirt. I was filming with my phone camera and they were doing this to me to try and find a lens. They did all this in front of NCT WISH…F*ck I don’t do K-Pop just to be sexually assaulted like this…
They lifted my skirt, touched me all over, grabbed my arms, pulled me, and got bruises. This isn’t just about trying to kick out people with cameras; they didn’t even let me take my bag. They didn’t return your phone unless your passport, Anypass, and Weverse name matched. I came here because I wanted to see my favorite group, and I don’t have anything to say about filming, but isn’t the treatment I received some form of anti-Korean sentiment?
The fan posted photos showing bruises and cuts on her arm allegedly from the security’s rough handling.

Netizens exploded with anger, demanding the fan file charges.
“The K-Pop fandom never changes…there’s no solution to this.”
“Don’t you need to report this?”
“Crazy…”
“You need to sue them…this is crazy…Is this Japan?”
“Even if she wants to sue, because it’s overseas, people need to inform them where to report these situations.”
“We need to make this public and boycott…but because this doesn’t work within the fandom, we can only criticize the agency…”
“The only way out is to leave the K-Pop fandom…do they really think these girls are stupid…”
The controversy continues to gain traction online as fans and observers monitor the situation closely. No official statement has been released by NCT WISH’s agency.
