Ju Haknyeon is under fire as Japan’s Shūkan Bunshun drops photos claimed as “evidence” in his sex scandal with Japanese pornstar Asuka Kirara.
The controversy started after Ju Haknyeon, former THE BOYZ member, sued a TenAsia reporter for accusing him of paying for sex with Asuka Kirara. The pornstar herself tweeted denying they slept together. Now, Shūkan Bunshun revealed photos showing a man in a hat and mask, with fans convinced it’s Ju Haknyeon since he admitted meeting her.
Reactions are heating up. Ju Haknyeon previously fought his agency, One Hundred Label, for wrongful contract termination and removal from the group. The agency claims his actions “damage the dignity of the artist to the extent that cause interference with activities.”
"First, we felt that Ju Haknyeon’s incident would greatly damage the team’s promotions, so we suspended his activities. After looking into the situation in detail, we decided to fully inform Ju Haknyeon of the grounds for contract termination per Article 6, Section 3 of the exclusive contract, which states, ‘Acts that damage the dignity of the artist to the extent that cause interference with activities.’"

Fans mostly agree the photos justify his firing. Comments include:
- “I think One Hundred Label made the right decision.”
- “He was in Japan for an award show. And then he decided to pull something like this.”
- “Did he even consider what he was doing to his teammates?”
- “It looks like he’s dating her.”
- “He said he was ‘just there.’ Yeah, right.”
- “I think it was right to remove him from the group for sure.”
- “Are they hugging in public? They look super intimate.”
- “He should have just been removed and leave it at that.”
Meanwhile, Dispatch revealed Ju Haknyeon “bragged about sleeping with Asuka Kirara at her house.”
