K-Pop Idol Appears Unrecognizable In Stunning Debut K-Movie Role

"Soft And Dreamy" K-Pop Idol Is Unrecognizable In His Shocking, First-Ever K-Movie Role

WINNER’s Jinu shocks fans with villain role in upcoming thriller Commission.

Known for his “pretty” visuals, Jinu went full dark mode for his K-Movie acting debut. He plays a psychopathic serial killer, a massive shift from his usual soft image.

Commission drops July 16, 2025 (KST). The story follows an aspiring webtoon artist tangled in a murder case linked to the dark web.

At the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), Jinu explained why he took on this intense character.

“This was a role I really wanted to do. I’ve been hoping to break away from my usual image, and I’ve been waiting a long time for this kind of character. When the director offered it to me, I accepted with gratitude.

After receiving the script, I had many deep conversations with the director about the character, and I think this is going to be a role I’ll never forget.”
