Junhyuk of POLARIX and ex-MIRAE is caught up in cheating accusations.
A woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend went public on Weibo with private messages. She says Junhyuk pursued her while still involved with others, cheating on multiple partners.
She posted chats showing him trying to shift the relationship into a “just friends” status after being caught. The woman also revealed she found messages to his ex on KakaoTalk, which he lied about until exposed.
The accuser claims she covered all their date expenses and even took his photos. Proof includes a photo matching a now-deleted Instagram picture from Junhyuk.
Junhyuk responded with a public apology aimed at fans for “hurting many people” due to “thoughtlessness and careless actions.”
Junhyuk:
"First of all, I’m truly sorry to be writing a post because of something unpleasant. I sincerely want to apologize to all the fans who have supported me so far… I deeply apologize for hurting many people due to my thoughtlessness and careless actions."
He promises to be more careful and show a better version of himself moving forward.
Junhyuk originally debuted with MIRAE before their 2024 disbandment. He later placed second on survival show Starlight Boys and debuted with POLARIX.
POLARIX dropped their debut single Freefall on May 28.
