The Seoul Central District Court was clear in its verdict, rejecting Kim’s claims that the act was consensual. The court asserted that the victim was clearly unconscious during the incident. Additionally, it noted that the BJ’s actions appeared driven by profit, as he used the graphic livestream to draw in more viewers.

Alongside his prison sentence, Kim will face three years of probation post-release. Furthermore, he has been banned from working with minors or individuals with disabilities for a decade. This case has sparked conversations about the responsibilities of those who witness such acts online and the urgent need for better protection for vulnerable individuals.
As the details of this shocking case continue to emerge, it serves as a reminder of the critical need for awareness and accountability in digital spaces.
