Koyote Shinji’s Fiancé Issues Apology Amid Controversy, Acknowledges One Claim

KOYOTE Shinji's "Red Flag" Fiancé Apologizes Amid Backlash—Admits To One Allegation

MoonOne faces backlash over past controversies after KOYOTE Shinji video

MoonOne, fiancé of KOYOTE’s Shinji, is under fire after appearing in Shinji’s latest YouTube video. A flood of allegations about MoonOne’s past quickly gained traction online, triggering demands to call off the wedding.

MoonOne responded with a lengthy apology on Instagram, admitting to being “careless” and “ashamed.” He apologized to KOYOTE, Shinji’s fans, and those hurt by his actions.

MoonOne: “I sincerely apologize to KOYOTE and Shinji’s fans, as well as everyone else who felt upset and disappointed in me due to my careless words and actions in Shinji’s YouTube video uploaded on the 2nd. I also apologize for the various controversies surrounding me.”

The singer confirmed one controversy: he worked in real estate without a license during hard times. He called it “wrong” and vowed to take full responsibility. However, he firmly denied other claims of bullying, cheating, and changing his legal name multiple times.

MoonOne: “One of the controversies surrounding me—that I engaged in real estate work with an agency without a certified realtor license—is true…I sincerely apologize to everyone who was disappointed, and I will take full responsibility for my actions.”

MoonOne: “The accusations that I bullied friends or juniors during my school days or military service are completely false, and I am willing to provide objective evidence to disprove them if necessary.”

MoonOne: “It is true that I got married due to a premarital pregnancy with my ex-wife, but I firmly deny the claim that I was in a relationship with another person at the time. Regarding the name change controversy: Park Sangmoon is my legal birth name. I simply changed my stage name from Giryeon to MoonOne—I have never legally changed my real name.”

MoonOne also apologized directly to KOYOTE members Kim Jongmin and Bbaekga for any disrespect during the video.

MoonOne: “I also sincerely apologize to Kim Jongmin and Bbaekga for my disrespectful behavior.”

He ended his post promising reflection and commitment to building a responsible life with Shinji.

MoonOne: “Once again, I deeply apologize for causing concern. I will reflect on my shortcomings and strive to live more responsibly in the life I build together with Shinji.”

Despite MoonOne’s heartfelt apology, netizens remain unimpressed. Comments range from “just leave it alone” to disappointment over the unlicensed real estate work being called a “fraud.” Many express resignation, saying it’s now Shinji’s decision whether to proceed.

  • “Once she ties the knot, it’s her own doing, haha. No one can stop someone under a love spell.”
  • “He admitted he was careless in the video—hopefully he’s more careful off camera too. Please show more respect to Shinji.”
  • “At this point, I can only wish them happy lives.”

MoonOne’s apology does not seem to have quelled the controversy, and the situation remains volatile.
