EXO’s Xiumin, Baekhyun, and Chanyeol got genuinely shocked by the age of LE SSERAFIM’s maknae, Eunchae.
The 13-year K-pop veterans appeared on Eunchae’s YouTube series Eunchae’s Star Diary. Right away, they noticed her height, with Xiumin saying,
“I think you’re taller than I thought.”
Eunchae, clearly nervous, blushed and thanked them.
Baekhyun then asked if he could ask her age. Eunchae replied,
“16.”
The three EXO members’ stunned expressions went viral.
When Eunchae explained it was by the international age system in Korea, they pressed her birth year. She said she was born in 2006.
Chanyeol pointed out the big age gap:
“There’s a 16-year difference between Eunchae and me. And Suho is twice her age.”
EXO wasn’t the only group shook by Eunchae’s age. On Na Young Suk’s Game Caterers, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan cracked up after finding out Eunchae was only 10 when their song “Pretty U” dropped. Seungkwan, 19 then, joked about how wild that was.
